Intermittent Windows error - GetCommMOdemStatus

Hi everyone,

I created a GUI program (Compiled Console Executable) that controls a Temperature Chamber and two Agilent power supplies. The purpose of this program is to change the voltage/temperature every few hours. From a functionality perspective, the code works great for a few weeks to a month. The MCR console returns the error GetCommMOdemStatus Failed! Windows also pops up a Runtime Error box.

I'm currently trying to debug/catch the error, but the error message doesn't tell me much. Does anyone have experience/advise on how to troubleshoot this?
