Is the PMSM model in MATLAB continuous in nature?

As the EKF(Extended Kalamn Filter)is designed as a discrete model, PMSM which is avialble in MATLAB is continuous in nature?
We need to design PMSM in descrete or is it available in MATLAB?

Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor documentation.
