Error installing PLS TOOLBOX 8.81

Hi guys, i am trying to install the PLS toolbox on Matlab 2020a ( got told to use this version for compatibility ).
I add the toolbox folder to the directory, then run the command "evriinstall" but i get an error message
" PLS Toolbox installation failed - Please contanct eigenvector research
Last error: Error using imread>get_full_filename ( line 567 )
File "help/smallevri.gif" does not exist. "
What can i do ? I am using MacOs.

When you add the toolbox to your path you need to add it with all the subfolders. I had the same error (in linux version though) and just adding all the PLS folders let me proceed with the install.
