Can Fmincon solve a minimum-time optimization?

Hi

I have a minimum-time problem where I would like to optimize the final time to bring my multibody model to rest.

I've tried including tf (final) time as part of x, and then passing that as the final integration time for the model. But I am having terrible convergence issues.

How can one solve minimum time problems using fmincon? Is it possible?
