any body help ... how to use animcustantdemopattern func to steer the beam in -30 to 30 degree and 30 to -30 degree steering angle.i.e to reverse the scan angle vice versa.

This is an internal function from MathWorks, so it is not officially supported. However, it is MATLAB code so technically you can just open the file and change the steering region to whatever you want.
