Putting together matlab plots into one

 Dear All

I have 8 separae matlab plots. Is there a way to put them into one matab figure of such as 2x4? I tried to use subplot but can't really figure it out. Help me

the first 2 indexes in subplot are the number of row and column plots in your figure.

subplot(2,4,1)
% your plot comomand here
subplot(2,4,2)
% your escond plot command here
subplot(2,4,3)
% and go on....
...
subplot(2,4,8)
% your last plot command here

Thanks. I used this but my plot is actually plotxx and it doesn't receive these subplots.
