Where are the toolboxes?

I just purchased MATLAB 2013a and a tutorial. The tutorial uses MATLAB 2011b. At one point, he accesses the Symbolic Math Toolbox by going to the start menu. How can I access the Symbolic Math Toolbox in the 2013a version?

The Professional and Academic versions of MATLAB do not include the Symbolic Mathematics Toolkit by default. The Student Version of MATLAB does include the Symbolic Mathematics Toolkit in the license, but it needs to be selected at the time of installation.
Note: There was no Student Version of R2011b. There is a Student Version of R2013a, for those who qualify.
