PX4 Toolbox "how to start" - Log in SD Card.

Very good to everyone, my name is Alberto.
I have looked for information, I have documented myself with the user guide, but I do not know how to advance. I am blocked.
I am doing a simple project, and I only need to record data of inclination, servos, motor in a log. I don't know very well what steps to follow to communicate the Pixhawk 1 (2.4.8) with Matlab.
I have installed the UAV Toolbox PX4. I have inserted the .txt card into SD in its folder ... What is the next step? I follow the steps in the user guide but I get lost in "Setting Up Cygwin Toolchain and Downloading PX4 Source Code "
I am looking for a step-by-step video tutorial or an orientation guide.

I found this video very helpful in setting up and getting started with the supportpackage.
