Which product should i select?

When I download and install R2020b, there are many products can be chosen but I don' t have enough space.

Do I need to download all the products? All could you please recommend some enssencial products for me?

I am a mechatronic engineering student who sometimes used matlab to design a controller

Especially on Windows it is easy to add toolboxes when you need them with the AddOn manager.

You can either start with the base product and add toolboxes as you discover you need them, or you can ask other students which toolboxes are required.

Alternatively you can just install MATLAB and then later install other products using Add-Ons explorer, refer to Get and Manage Add-Ons, How to Install MATLAB Video and Get and Install MATLAB Add-Ons and Simulink Add-Ons Using the Add-On Explorer.

Based on your license type, another alternative is to use MATLAB Online.
