the workspace of my matlab is empty after execution of my program. i am using matlab R2018 a. I don't understand what's going on please help me

Does your script contains the clear command ?

I assume you want to know how you want to compile and run your program but for some reason its not working as expected. The following MATLAB Answers link has a similar query, you can check this out:
