appdesigner does not save to current folder

I have composed a blank app in appdesigner and added a button to it. Then, I try to save it. When I do, the resulting .mlapp file is not generated in my current folder. Instead, it saves to the folder where appdesigner was launched. Is this the intended behavior? If so, why?

It is saving to the current folder, using R2021a update 3.

@Yongjian Feng OK. I assume, because you didn't mention it, that there are no fixes available for earlier Matlab versions?

@Matt J, I didn't assume that. What I assumed is that r2021a is the only version he had on his computer and it works with that version, and that he can't reproduce the problem because he doesn't have r2020a installed anymore.

Hmmm. Well, in that case, @Yongjian Feng could you clarify whether you meant that this was a known bug that was explicitly fixed in R2021a update 3 (and is not fixable in update 2, update 1, and earlier Matlab versions)?

Thanks for the information. I am able to reproduce it now. A request has been sent to the corresponding team.
