Performance issue running Matlab - 9.6.0.1072779 (R2019a) on Windows Server 2019

We are noticing 2-3x performance (time to complete) degradation when running tasks on server 2019 vs server 2008. Same code base, same version of Matlab (R2019a). Are there any specific settings to be done on server 2019 to achieve comparable or better performance ?
Windows Server 2019 Standard - Intel Xeon CPU E5-2643 v4 @ 3.40 GHz (2 processors), 64-bit OS, x64-based processor, 64 GB RAM
Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard - Intel Xeon CPU E5-260 v3 @ 2.30 GHz, 64-bit OS, 27 GB RAM
