Hi,
My problem is, that I can't use the option to activate Matlab via Internet, because everytime I'm going to try this, a popup window appears with the following error:
"This application could not connect to Mathworks. Please make sure your internet connection is available and that all software and hardware firewalls have been disabled before retrying your request"
On MS WIN it worked perfectly, but I got this issue on my Mac OS 10.85, I also tried to deactivate the firewall but without success.
What can I do now? I would like to prefer the option via Internet and not the Activation Key File.
Best regards,
M

You can connect to your personal hotspot first when you want to download the software. When it starts to download, swift to the Wifi connection. This solves my problem. I hope this works for you as well.

Check your network connectivity make sure that your Mac is connected to an active internet connection, try accessing other websites to check whether your internet is working properly or another you can do is check your firewall settings. Some firewalls may block your connection to the MathWorks server. You can disable your firewall or add MATLAB to your firewall exception list. I hope it will help you.

How to add MATLAB to your firewall exception list, do we have any specific list of websites/links?
