Technical Account Managers (TAM) are part of the account teams who act as a bridge between a company's technical team and its customers, ensuring that the customer's technical needs are understood and met with effective solutions, while also helping to maintain and grow the client relationship. Customer success in using the products is the best strategy for the long-term business success.

As the Manager Technical Account Managers Automotive (m,f,d) you'll partner with the Managers Sales Automotive, Application engineering managers, product development, and marketing teams to shape the engagements of MathWorks with respective key accounts in the Automotive industry – in Germany and on a global scale. The members of the Automotive team are trusted partners of our customers in the Automotive industry. The key to success in this position will be leveraging your leadership skills, industry experience and network, and technical expertise to maximize the effectiveness of your team and evolve the way MathWorks engages with the customers. This role is based in Munich.

Responsabilidades

  • Manage the coverage of account team setup for the Automotive key accounts in close collaboration with the Automotive sales manager.
  • Further grow the portfolio of strategic customer engagements that are both highly relevant for the customers in their business transformation as for MathWorks in its product evolution journey.
  • Personally support the customer collaboration by close collaboration on management level
  • Ensuring the team establishes and executes solid account strategies and gets appropriate resources and support from the global MathWorks organization.
  • Hiring and developing the critical skills of the team members (industry knowledge, technical account management and strategy etc.) making certain they best develop the collaboration of MathWorks with our customers and partners.

Cualificaciones mínimas

  • A bachelor's degree and 7 years of professional work experience (or equivalent experience) is required. 2 years management experience is required.

Cualificaciones adicionales

  • University degree in Science or Engineering (Master degree or equivalent)
  • Significant experience in working within a customer facing organization in the Automotive industry
  • Proven track record of successful collaboration with sales and marketing.
  • Business acumen and ability to manage projects critical to MathWorks and to our customers.
  • Candidates should be proficient and find great satisfaction in coaching their reports aimed at facilitating their effectiveness.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Proven experience in problem solving and use of analytical skills.
