How to add AWGN to a signal for a given Eb/No in dB?

If you have Communication Toolbox or Communication System Toolbox, you can use awgn
http://www.mathworks.com/help/toolbox/comm/ref/awgn.html
Otherwise, just use randn to generate the noise and add to the signal
