New Analog Mixed Signal Development And Verification Workflow
MATLAB® and Simulink® have been utilized extensively for designing a variety of analog-mixed signal systems including PLLs and A/D converters. A natural unified design is required between analog and digital components for a top-down approach to the development flow. To meet these needs, MathWorks introduces the new analog-mixed signal system design and verification flow which will be explained in this section.
- Utilizing MATLAB and Simulink for system-level simulation.
- Connectivity between Simulink and various third-party AMS product lines to achieve a natural design flow from the systems engineers to the analog design engineers.
- Utilizing the system-level simulation capability of Simulink for digital module design.
