Access Add-Ons in MATLAB Analysis and Visualization Apps

In addition to the functions in MATLAB^®, with a paid ThingSpeak™ license you can use functions from MATLAB add-ons that are supported in MATLAB Online™ for which your account is licensed. See MATLAB Online Specifications and Limitations. To list the products available to you, enter the following command in a MATLAB Analysis App or MATLAB Visualizations App:

Trying to access functions in a MATLAB Analysis or MATLAB Visualization app from products you are not licensed for, results in an error.

For functions that generate graphical outputs, create a MATLAB Visualization app to embed in your ThingSpeak channel. Functions that open interactive graphical UIs are not supported in ThingSpeak MATLAB Analysis or MATLAB Visualization apps.
