PXI Devices and MATLAB
MATLAB supports PXI for developing test systems that include modular instruments, data acquisition cards, and imaging devices. Once data is in MATLAB, you can analyze and visualize the data for analysis tasks such as signal processing, statistical analysis, digital filtering, and curve fitting. You can also create graphical interfaces for collecting and analyzing your data and automating tests.
PXI (PCI eXtensions for Instrumentation) is a modular instrumentation platform that is used for measurement and automation applications. MATLAB supports PXI devices from multiple vendors, including modular instruments, data acquisition cards, and other devices based on the PXI bus.
PXI Modular Instruments
When used with Instrument Control Toolbox, MATLAB supports any PXI device that is delivered with an IVI driver. Search for an instrument driver for your PXI device.
PXI Data Acquisition Cards
Data Acquisition Toolbox supports many PXI data acquisition cards. Using an open API, you can configure and acquire data from these devices. For the complete list of supported data acquisition cards, see the supported hardware page.
PXI Imaging Devices
Image Acquisition Toolbox supports PXI cameras and frame grabbers. Using an open API, you can configure and acquire data from these devices. For the complete list of supported data acquisition cards, see the supported hardware page.
